Anti-69 Conference and Web Design
Anti-69 began as a conference held at Carleton University in Ottawa, ON. It later grew into a network that continues to resist the mythologies of the 1969 criminal code reform.
The idea for this conference was developed as I was working on my article “Queering 69,” published in the Canadian Historical Review.
I undertook various efforts to mobilize this conference digitally:
- Web hosting and design (www.anti-69.ca)
- Frequently Asked Questions, written with Gary Kinsman and Karen Pearlston
- Filmed, edited, and published several conference videos (www.anti-69.ca/vids)
